The Story Behind Ink & Aster

Ink & Aster Bookshop began with a simple thought that wouldn’t go away.

One day the idea popped into my head, and instead of fading, it lingered. I started exploring and researching, dreaming and imaging. I quickly realized that this wasn’t just a fleeting thought, but a spark that was igniting my passion for the world of books.

I’ve always loved reading. Life gets full, though. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and I have two incredible boys. There have been plenty of seasons when I didn’t have as much time to read as I wanted, but it’s something that I always go back to.

Ink & Aster is my way of building a life surrounded by what I love. A cozy, light-filled mobile bookshop that travels to markets and pop-ups, bringing romance, fantasy, and thriller books to the community.

This little trailer is more than a business, it’s a creative dream, a space for readers to gather, browse, and discover a new read, or maybe grab a book that’s been on their TBR for far too long.
